Nomadessence
Architecture Studio Website
The site for Nomadessence, the Monaco architecture studio of Milena Cvijanovich. They designed it, I built it. Their vision had outgrown WordPress, so I rebuilt it on a foundation that could finally do it justice.

What I was solving
Nomadessence had a fully-formed creative vision and a website that could not carry it. WordPress boxed their design into templates, flattened the motion they wanted, and made the small details impossible to get right. My brief was pure execution: bring their visual goal and creative taste into reality, faithful to every frame of what they designed.
How I approached it
Design and creative direction are entirely Nomadessence's (Milena Cvijanovich). My job was to build it exactly as they envisioned it, and how I worked mattered more than what I built with. I suggested moving off WordPress so their design would finally have full creative control, then we built it section by section: they sent a mockup, I matched it down to the detail and turned feedback around the same day. The site grew the way they wanted, not in one big handoff at the end. Every page carried over without losing their search ranking. The work did not stop at launch either: they send me the content, I put it live, and I keep everything running on an ongoing maintenance retainer. Every visual decision stays theirs; the build and its upkeep are mine.
